SUMMER TASK FORCE UPDATE
A massive Thank You to all that helped on Sunday to get DSG ready for the forthcoming cricket season. Big shout out and thanks to Dulwich Cricket Club, Ploughmans CC and South Bank CC for all your help with the covers and sight-screens! #dulwichsportsground #dsg #thankyou #cricketseason2024
On Sunday the 7th April there will be a summer task force group made up of players from Dulwich, Ploughmans and South Bank Cricket Clubs that will attend the ground and assist in helping to set up the ground and get it ready for summer sports and the forthcoming cricket season.
SAVE THE DATE: The Local DSG Cricket Clubs are looking for volunteers to attend from around 11:00am on Sunday the 7th of April 2024 (please lisiase with your local club co-ordinators) to attend and help with various tasks and small jobs around the ground including adding tarpaulins to the 3 sets of cricket covers, Repair, fix, replace slats and move sightscreens around the ground, so they are ready and in position for the opening games of the season.
There is also a suggestion (weather and ground permitting), that post clean up, an inter-club cricket match and or a cricket training session is played, on one of the astro pitches or within the grounds cricket nets, involving at least South Bank CC & Ploughmans.CC volunteers and players.
Other volunteers from clubs are welcome to help and subsequently play in the preseason match or training session.
Additionally we will ensure the opening & closing of the grounds bar to accomodate volunteers and players on the day.
